Currently contracting for Transport for London, working as a Content Editor and Information Architect, a role I also performed, briefly, on sections of the website of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, when they redesigned and relaunched it in 2006.
The Prostate Cancer Charity [>]
In June of 2005 I was hired to completely redesign and rebuild this website from the ground up. This is the biggest and most comprehensive project I've ever tackled and it went down very well. Any awful coding, dreadful text or messed up style sheets occured AFTER I left the charity. Honest.
BBC
Talking Movies [>]
In late 2003 I was given the job of editing and maintaining a website
for the weekly movie news programme Talking Movies. It's broadcast all
around the world and the site gets thousands of hits each week. All
the site is my work, including the encoding of the clips, screen grabs
and all the text.
BBC
Click [>]
For seven years I have edited and maintained a website for the
weekly internet news programme Click (formerly Click Online). It's broadcast all around
the world and the site gets thousands of hits each week. All the site is my work, including the encoding of
the clips, screen grabs and all the text.
The
Harvey Andrews Website [>]
This is a website I made and maintain for my father, who is a singer-songwriter.
There have been four versions of this site so far, this latest being
launched in May 2007.
Gone but not forgotten
BBC Top of the Pops [>]
I'm was an Assistant Producer here, normally only on Sundays but I also occasionally worked for them full time from home to fill in for a colleague on sabbatical. On Sunday the site was all mine and I did all the news stories and input the new charts. The writing was mostly aimed at young girls and was deliberately silly and light.
BBC Science
- Walking With Dinosaurs
Although this site was already designed and live when I joined the BBC, my job was to polish and finish it. Consequently, much of the site as it stands was built by me to fit in with the already established design.
